Frequently Asked Questions & Buying Guide
-
We produce every print in our studio on museum-grade archival paper using pigment-based inks. We select these materials to meet the exact standards used in institutional and gallery printing, specifically for their color accuracy, depth, and longevity. Archival materials resist fading far beyond standard printing, ensuring your piece becomes a lasting addition to your collection rather than a short-lived decorative item.
-
"Museum-quality" defines a strict combination of archival paper, pigment inks, and printing precision that meets institutional preservation standards. At Haus of Collectors, we produce every edition from open to hand-embellished to this exact standard. Displayed and stored correctly, your print will never yellow, fade, or degrade as mass-produced wall art does.
-
Giclée printing utilizes high-resolution inkjet technology and pigment-based inks to reproduce images with exceptional detail and an expansive color range. We produce our high-quality fine art prints using this precise process. Galleries and institutions worldwide rely on this method, making the term "giclée" synonymous with archival, museum-grade printing.

An open edition carries no fixed production limit, though we reserve the right to conclude production at any time. We produce limited editions in strictly set quantities. The artist hand-signs and individually numbers each piece (for example, 12 of 20). Once collectors acquire a full limited edition, we permanently retire that size and format. For serious collectors, limited editions guarantee a level of scarcity and authenticity that open editions do not provide.
-
A hand-embellished edition begins as an archival print. The artist then enhances the piece individually with paint, ink, charcoal, or mixed media. Because the artist works on each piece by hand, no two remain identical. They hand-sign and number each work, delivering the closest experience to owning an original artwork through our studio. As our most exclusive offering, we price and treat them accordingly.
-
Open editions include a digital signature from the artist. Limited and hand-embellished editions are individually numbered and hand-signed, verifying their physical authenticity. If you require further documentation for a specific purpose, contact us directly. We will advise you on the documentation available for your specific edition.
-
Interior designers generally recommend selecting artwork that fills roughly two-thirds of the available wall width above furniture, or stands as a proportionate focal point on a blank wall. Before ordering, measure your space and determine the visual weight you want the piece to command. If you remain unsure, reach out via our contact page for a personalized size recommendation.
-
We do not offer in-house framing. Instead, we include a curated framing recommendation card with every order. Developed alongside the artist, this guide offers frame styles, matting options, and UV-protective glazing, and directs you to reputable framers. Treat these recommendations as a helpful guide, not a strict requirement; you retain complete freedom to frame your print to suit your space.
-
UV-protective glazing serves as the single most critical element for long-term preservation. It prevents light-induced fading and serves as the baseline for gallery framing. Acid-free matting prevents the print surface from touching the glass, while a sealed frame blocks humidity. Your included framing card covers all these details extensively.

Our studio produces all Haus of Collectors prints in dedicated batches twice per month: on the 15th and the 30th. We include orders placed before a batch date in that immediate production cycle. Orders placed afterward roll into the subsequent batch. Expect delivery within three weeks of your order date. We email a shipping confirmation with full tracking the moment your print leaves the studio.

Absolutely. Collecting online does not compromise quality or authenticity; it simply reflects a structural evolution in art distribution. We built Haus of Collectors specifically to grant you direct access to museum-quality, artist-driven prints outside the traditional gallery circuit. Mansion of Art, our parent cultural agency operating in Paris and Deauville, dictates our curatorial standards. Therefore, your collecting experience here relies on the same principles that drive professional art advisory.
